5-in-1 Mini Document Album Maker – Print Front and Back of 5 Cards on One A4 Page

What does this tool do?

People often need photocopies of cards such as an Aadhaar card, PAN card, Voter ID, driving licence or bank card, with both the front and the back. Making each copy separately wastes paper and money. This tool lays out the front and back of up to five cards on a single A4 page, so you can print or save everything at once. Each row holds one card: the front goes on the left and the back on the right. A dashed line marks the centre of the sheet, and dashed boxes show where to cut.

You control the spacing, the page margin and the roundness of the corners, and you see the sheet on screen before you print it.

How to use it, step by step

  1. Prepare an image of each side of each card (see the tips below).
  2. Click a box marked Card 1 Front and choose the image. Then click Card 1 Back and choose the other side. Repeat for up to five cards. Use the small ✕ on a box to remove a wrong image.
  3. Use the settings panel to adjust the row gap (up and down), column gap (left and right), page margin and corner radius. You can also tap a preset: Tight, Std or Wide. Corner curve can be turned on or off.
  4. Check the sheet on screen.
  5. Click Print A4 to print directly, or Download PDF to save a high-resolution PDF file named RajasthanEmitra_5in1_Document_Album_300DPI.pdf.
  6. Use Reset to clear all ten boxes and start again. It asks you to confirm first.

Layout and technical details

  • Page: A4 portrait, one page, with two columns and five rows (ten image boxes).
  • Default spacing: 4 mm between rows, 8 mm between columns, 8 mm page margin, 2 mm rounded corners.
  • Adjustable range: row gap 0–15 mm, column gap 0–25 mm, page margin 2–25 mm, corner radius 0–10 mm.
  • Images: any common image type, such as JPG, PNG or WEBP.

With the default settings each box is roughly 93 mm wide and 53 mm tall, which is close to a standard card shape. Each image is stretched to fill its box, so crop your images to a similar wide shape first.

Tips for clean results

  • Scan the card, or photograph it flat in even light, with no shadow or glare across the text.
  • Crop tightly to the edges of the card, with the card in a landscape (wide) position.
  • Keep the front and the back at the same size and orientation.
  • When printing, choose A4 paper and a scale of 100% / Actual size. Turn off "fit to page", or the layout will shrink or shift.
  • Use the PDF if you are taking the file to a print shop. It keeps the layout exactly as you see it.

Where is it useful?

Anywhere that asks for photocopies of identity or address cards: bank and KYC forms, SIM or gas connection applications, school and college admissions, job applications and e-Mitra or CSC services. Putting five cards on one sheet saves paper and keeps a customer's documents together.

Responsible use: Use this tool only for documents that belong to you, or that you are properly authorised to copy, for example with the owner's consent. Never change the details on a document. A sheet printed from this tool is only a layout of your images. Many offices still require originals or self-attested copies, so follow the rules of the office that asks for your documents. If you handle other people's documents, delete the files when the work is done.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Why do my cards look stretched?

Each image is fitted to the full box. If the picture is much taller or much wider than the box, it will look squeezed. Crop the image to a card-like wide shape first.

Can I use fewer than five cards?

Yes. Leave unused boxes empty and fill only the ones you need.

Will the dashed lines show on the print?

The dashed boxes and the centre line are part of the sheet, so they help you cut and fold. Keep this in mind when choosing your spacing.

The print came out smaller or shifted. What went wrong?

Your print dialog probably used "fit to page" or "shrink to fit". Print at 100% scale on A4.

Does it work on a mobile phone?

Yes, but a larger screen makes it easier to place images and check the layout. On a phone the sheet is shown scaled down.
