Bank Application Form Generator – Ready-to-Print Letters for 37 Common Bank Requests

Please note: This is an independent tool. It is not connected to any bank, the RBI or the Government. Bank names are used only to address your letter. The letters are simple written applications and are not the banks' own forms. Some banks or branches may ask you to use their own form as well, so please check with your branch. Rules, fees and time limits mentioned in the short notes can change, so confirm them with your bank.

Many everyday bank requests, such as updating KYC, changing a mobile number or blocking a lost ATM card, are accepted as a written application to the Branch Manager. Writing a correct letter in proper Hindi or English takes time, and mistakes can lead to a visit being wasted. This tool prepares the letter for you. You choose the topic and your bank, type your details, and a neatly formatted A4 application appears on screen. You can print it, download it as a PDF, copy the text or share it.

How to use it, step by step

  1. Choose the language of the letter: Hindi or English.
  2. Select the topic, for example "Mobile Number Change", "ATM Card Block" or "KYC Update". Extra boxes appear for details that topic needs, such as the old and new number or the date of loss.
  3. Select your bank from the list, or choose "Other Bank" and type its name.
  4. Enter your name, account number, mobile number, address, branch and date. Fields you leave empty are shown as dotted lines so you can write them by hand.
  5. Open Advanced Options if you want to set the applicant's gender (it adjusts the Hindi wording), the font, font size, line spacing, border, a photo box, your IFSC, customer ID, place, or extra enclosures.
  6. Check the preview on the right. Then press Print, A4 PDF Download, Copy or WhatsApp.
  7. Sign the printed letter, attach the listed documents, and submit it at your branch. Ask for an acknowledgement.

What topics are covered?

  • KYC and identity: KYC update, Aadhaar linking and delinking, NPCI/DBT mapping, PAN update.
  • Account services: new savings account, Jan Dhan account, minor account, dormant account reactivation, account closure, branch transfer, statement, passbook and balance or interest certificate.
  • Cards and digital banking: new ATM card or PIN reset, lost card block, ATM cash not dispensed, cheque book, stop payment, mobile and net banking activation, UPI or online fraud complaint, wrong transfer recovery.
  • Corrections: name, date of birth, address, signature and nominee.
  • Deposits, loans and schemes: FD or RD opening, premature FD closure, loan request, loan closure and NOC, Kisan Credit Card, insurance and pension schemes, TDS exemption (Forms 15G and 15H), locker request and a claim for a deceased account holder.

The list includes 46 banks, among them public sector, private, small finance, payments and regional rural banks, India Post and other banks you can type in.

Useful features

  • Format check: the Aadhaar and PAN boxes warn you if the number is not in a valid format. This checks only the pattern, not whether the number belongs to you.
  • Aadhaar masking: you can show the number as XXXX XXXX 1234 on the letter.
  • Signature image: upload a photo of your signature so it appears on the letter.
  • Document list: each letter lists the documents usually needed. Add your own lines if your bank asks for more.
  • Short notes: some letters include a brief note based on RBI guidance, for example about acknowledgement of a KYC self-declaration. You can switch these off.
  • Office-use box: a small box for the bank to write received, verified and processed.

Tips for a letter that is accepted the first time

  • Write the account number and mobile number carefully, and double-check names against your passbook.
  • Attach self-attested copies, and carry originals for verification.
  • For a lost card or a fraud, contact your bank's helpline first to block the card, and report fraud on the national cyber crime helpline, then submit the letter.
  • Keep a copy of the signed letter with the bank's seal and date.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Will every bank accept this letter?

Most branches accept a clear written application, but some requests need the bank's own form or an online process. Please ask your branch.

Is it safe to type my Aadhaar and PAN?

They are used only to build the letter in your browser and are not stored or sent by this tool. Even so, avoid sharing a letter that contains your full Aadhaar number. Use the masking option, and be careful with the WhatsApp button, because it shares the whole letter text.

What does "Remember my information" do?

It saves some fields, such as your name, account number, mobile number and address, in the browser on this device only. Do not use it on a shared or public computer. Clear it with the reset button.

Why did the PDF not download?

If the PDF library cannot load, for example because of a weak internet connection, the tool opens the print window. Choose "Save as PDF" there.

Can I edit the text of the letter?

You can change every detail you enter and add your own lines in the extra details and enclosure boxes. For a different wording, copy the text and edit it in any document editor.

🔒 Privacy: The letter is generated in your browser. Your details are not uploaded to a server. Nothing is saved unless you tick the "remember" option.
